Biography

Born and grew up in Kenya. A crop and animals’ enthusiast, a friend of insects from age 5. Have hands-on farming experience for multiple crops and animals in diverse geography and culture. Skilled in pesticides, transgenic Bt technology, cultural control practices, host plant resistance, developing technologies and markets, training and extension. Hobbies include joking, singing, participating in works of charity and travelling/ sight-seeing.

Research Interest 

Integrated pest management, insecticide resistance management, host plant resistance, insect biology and ecology, integrated knowledge transfer and extension.
