Options for Supporting Our Teaching and Outreach
To provide support to the University of Minnesota and its College of Food, Agricultural and Natural Resource Sciences for programming to engage students and the public in entomology through outreach and educational activities.
To support an annual lectureship in the area of insect physiology and ecology in the Department of Entomology. These funds may be used to support the Richards-Hodson lectureship, including but not limited to speaker expenses such as travel, lodging and transportation, stipend, promotional materials, hospitality activities associated with the lectureship.
Support of research, teaching and outreach activities that improve pest prevention and control tactics for keeping pests out of homes, schools, restaurants, stores and food packaging plants. Examples of pests that cause problems for people on a daily basis include: beg bugs, cockroaches, ants, pantry pests, mice and rats.
