Comparing bumblebee populations along roadsides to those in managed parks.
Why Insects?
They are interesting and often underappreciated animals. Insect conservation is integral for sustaining healthy ecosystems.
Why University of Minnesota?
I’ve lived in MN my entire life and I love it here! Also, having 3 biomes in the state makes it an interesting and exciting place to do ecological research.
Aspirations
I would love to work for the government or a nonprofit researching and promoting pollinator conservation.

Bumblebees!

Gardening, pets, hiking, cooking, camping, birdwatching, and traveling.
