Why insects?

Insects are very unique and have an incredible ability of adaptation. Also they play a very important role among different environments around the world.

The University of Minnesota is a place of diversity where you can go beyond all the information and knowledge provided by this renowned University, plus all the structure and technology available here that can help optimize your work.

Minnesota has a very good reputation when it comes to embrace people from different places, which makes you feel comfortable.

My first experience outside Brazil was here, in 2017 - 2018, and I couldn't enjoyed more, despite the extremely cold temperature of the Winter!

Aspirations:

After graduate school I would like to put my experiences together and work towards the creation of my own business, with ideals that would best represents my beliefs and my way of work.

Favorite Insect:

Praying Mantis. They are fascinating and formidable predators.

Other interests/Hobbies: 

I really enjoy different kinds of sports; play soccer, do outside activities, visit different places, lots of traveling, hikings and have a special taste for Wildlife observation. Also, I like meeting different people, different cultures and get together with friends at night, preferably bars!
