Catalog of the Neotropical Caddisflies

This systematic catalog contains bibliographic citations — including citation of the original description, type locality, and type depository, as well as synonyms and information on distribution — for 2,196 species of Neotropical Trichoptera distributed in 153 genera and 24 families. The catalog covers the literature through 1999. It includes an extensive literature cited section and is fully indexed. Introductory sections cover biogeography, taxonomic history of the fauna, fossil species, and classification, among other topics.
