UMSP Collection Management© database
The museum's collection management database, developed by alumnus Dr. Ronald A. Hellenthal, University of Notre Dame, records the collections accessions and loans. This system stores information on the total number of specimens per family, number determined to species, storage method (pin, vial, or slide), location in the collection, and number and kinds of types. The system tracks new accessions and loaned specimens, and generates loan forms and annual renewal notices.
