Degrees Offered

The program offers graduate curricula leading to the Master of Science and Doctor of Philosophy degrees. Specializations in entomology include behavior, ecology, molecular genetics, microbiology, neurobiology, physiology, population dynamics, systematics, and taxonomy. Applications involve apiculture, biological control, cell culture, host-plant resistance, insect-vector relations, integrated pest management, and mathematical modeling. Research programs are active in aquatic systems, crop and animal agriculture, forests, human health, and the urban environment
