Stunted, straw-colored shoots with shortened needles.

Black, pimple-like spore producing structures on cones. Canker on main stem and associated olive-green discoloration of resin-soaked wood beneath the bark. Symptoms of terminal shoot and lateral shoot dieback, subsequent to hail injury. Black, pimple-like spore producing structures on cones.
