| The adult beetle is 9-13mm long, have white or gold flecks on their forewings and have a short snout. All adults are female and are unable to fly. The larvae are off-white with a brown head, are 12.5mm long and are c-shaped and legless. The eggs, which are laid on the soil surface or on leaf litter, are less than 1mm in diameter. |
