  1. Complete the table below. (5 pts total)

  2. Make the table in Microsoft Word. Use Times font, size 10 or 12. Save the file in .doc or .rtf format and label it "last name, quiz #.doc or "last name, quiz #.rtf." The table may also be made in Excel and saved in .xls format. Email it as an enclosure. Put your name and quiz # in the email message subject. Please check with a virus protect program before emailing. Email to pests@umn.edu.

  3. For #2, please specify which life stage corresponds with your degree days (egg hatch, 2nd instar, adult emergence, etc.). See links below for details.

  4. Using the information from your table, develop an IPM program for each pest. (5 pts total, or about 0.8 pts per pest)

    This IPM program should be a separate summary of the table, written in paragraph form (at least 1 paragraph per pest). In addition to summarizing the table, be sure to describe the situations in which you would use:

      c.   Biorational pesticides
      d.   Conventional pesticides
      e.   Nothing (let biocontrol that is already present manage the pests)
