Mario Carrillo

 Mario Carrillo

Advisor:

William Hutchison

Education:

Ph.D. - Entomology, University of Minnesota (2005)
M.S.- Entomology, Mississippi State University (2001)
B.S.- Plant Protection, Panamerican School of Agriculture, El Zamorano, Honduras (1997)
Agronomist.- Agronomy, Panamerican School of Agriculture, El Zamorano, Honduras (1995)

Degree sought:

PhD Entomology

Research interests:

I am interested in insect cold hardiness in general and the stored-grain environment. My thesis research is focused in determining the factors affecting the cold hardiness of the Indian meal moth, Plodia interpunctella (Hübner) and the implication for its management.
