Research Interests and Activities:

Interests include the systematics of parasitic wasps, esp. the family Braconidae (Hymenoptera), biological control of agricultural pests (vegetables, tobacco, fruit trees), and integrated management of tobacco pests. Current research activities are focused mainly on the sex determination mechanism in hymenopteran parasitoids and biological control of the soybean aphid Aphis glycines Matsumura.
